A3D Sport
A3D Sport is a French family business with a passion for water sports. The company designs, manufactures and assembles its products in its own workshop in Southern France. Many parts are 3D printed, which makes product development fast and allows details to be refined based on user feedback.
Artness – retractable leash for wings
A3D's most popular product is Artness, a retractable leash that attaches to the wing handles or boom with Velcro straps. When the hook is released, the leash retracts along the center support and out of the way, so a dangling leash does not interfere with turns. The retractable leash reduces strain on the arms and extends sessions. Artness is suitable for wings with soft or hard handles and booms, and installation takes just a few minutes.
- Artness V3 – the leash length is adjustable on land (56–88 cm).
- Artness Pro 2 – the length can be adjusted while riding with the hook engaged: a shorter leash for riding against the wind and a longer leash for riding with the wind.

Materials
The products use materials selected for marine use, such as Dyneema rope, elastic cords from the French company Cousin Trestec and original VELCRO straps.
