PPC Foiling has designed an easy-to-use board shim that fits between the foil mast leg and the board.
Have you ever experienced that annoying pressure on your back foot when foiling? Maybe you changed foil brand or board and noticed that your setup feels different.
This is an easy and cost-effective solution that will improve the feel and performance of both your board and foil.
Each shim brings a one-degree change, which increases the pressure on either the front foot or the back foot by changing the angle of the board.
PPC team pilot Josh Armit uses 2 degrees for wingfoiling at higher speeds (30+ knots).
"The PPC board shim allows you to push harder against more front foot pressure, which makes it easier to control at speed. It also gives the board the right angle, so if you touch the water at speed, the board won't catch and fall over."
