This mast is the new flagship of Coden Foil Drive's product range, designed from the ground up to offer maximum stiffness, refined hydrodynamics, and seamless compatibility with the Foil Drive system.
Made from Ultra High Modulus carbon fiber with an entirely new fiber lamination structure, this mast provides a noticeably sharper and more direct riding feel, as well as improved efficiency and power transfer. Every detail has been designed to meet the needs of performance-seeking riders for Foil Drive use – whether in surf, downwind, flat water conditions, or assisted riding.
Designed in collaboration with Foil Drive, the mast integrates cleanly and precisely into the system, minimizing flex and excess movement while maintaining optimal hydrodynamic efficiency.
Two application-optimized pod height options are available, allowing riders to fine-tune the setup according to their weight, riding style, and performance goals.
Both masts are 78 cm tall, measured from the top of the base plate to the bottom of the Tuttle connection. This height has been extensively tested with ambassadors Josh Kun and James Casey to ensure optimal performance in various conditions.

11 cm pod height
Designed for maximum performance, lighter riders, and especially for surf use. Offers a very responsive feel, minimal drag, and a strong connection to the foil.
17 cm pod height
Designed for everyday use, a wider weight range, and riders who prioritize upwind riding. Also suitable for surf, downwind, and flat water use. Provides additional stability and efficiency in motorized riding.
