What is Foil Drive?

Foil Drive is a modular system that transforms a regular foil board into an electric-assisted one. At the heart of the system are the motor, controller, cables, and other accessories, which are integrated into an existing foil board and mast. It provides power for takeoff while maintaining the freedom and dynamics desired in foiling.

Product Families

Foil Drive offers various options and packages for users to choose from to best suit their situation. Different motor powers and battery sizes are available. A smaller battery saves weight, but the power may not be sufficient for very long sessions.

The Foil Drive Assist MAX, recommended for Finnish conditions, is Foil Drive's flagship model – a perfect solution for hybrid electric foiling. As its name suggests, the Assist MAX offers maximum power, operating time, and versatility!

The package includes everything you need to transform your existing hydrofoil and board into an electric-assisted foil machine:

• Universal Mast Adapter, which fits 99% of masts on the market

• v2 motor with a standard 20 cm cable (easily changeable to a new length thanks to the detachable v2 motor cable)

• Bluetooth connection to the Foil Drive mobile app

Note: Boards with carbon fiber tracks may experience connectivity issues. In such cases, an external antenna (accessory) is the solution.
