Vayu Pyro Parawing
Vayu Pyro Parawing
The VAYU PYRO is VAYU's answer to the parawing: ultralight, clean-lined and designed to be packed and deployed again and again during foiling.
Short bridles, state-of-the-art construction and an all-new Bridge Bar steering system make the PYRO instantly feel familiar to those used to VAYU wings: immediate, calm and predictable. With the PYRO you can confidently ride upwind, pack the wing in seconds and surf downwind with nothing in your hands.
PYRO has been developed and tested in the Columbia River Gorge, Fuerteventura and Hawaii – places where the demands on equipment are high.
Designer's view
The VAYU PYRO is the result of over a year of development and represents the latest generation of parawings. The moderate aspect ratio (AR) and precisely shaped sailcloth provide true upwind performance, sufficient power and a calm and easy-to-control ride.
Short bridles and Bridge Bar control reduce line tangling, improve handling, and make the wing easy to pack, quick to deploy, and reliable in all situations. This is the level of performance expected from a modern parawing – and the direction the entire sport is heading.
