We have successfully used these foil sets in wingfoil beginner courses! All three options feature a large, stable rear wing (188AR) and a long Large fuselage, providing early, soft lift and calm angle of attack control. The foil lifts easily even in light winds and does not require high speed to take off. The aluminum mast keeps the price moderate for the learning phase, and all parts are compatible with the rest of the Code Foils range — the set can be upgraded piece by piece as skills improve. The correct front wing is chosen according to the rider's weight, as it most significantly affects how easily and at what speed the foil takes off.
